Background

For many years I was convinced I couldn’t paint because realism was difficult for me. When I let go of perfection, and the notion that I needed to have a clear style, I began to gravitate to painting. Of all the crafts, I feel like I have the least control over a painting. The end result is always different from what I imagined when I began, that is my favorite aspect of painting.
